Faster Scene Resubmission Without Full Reprocessing

When you need to resubmit a Pulze scene for cloud rendering, you can skip the time-consuming asset collection process by importing directly from your previous export folder. This guide shows you how to quickly resubmit scenes without waiting for full reprocessing in Pulze.

Why Use This Method?

  • Saves time - Avoids repeating the lengthy Pulze export process

  • Works when 3ds Max is closed- Doesn't require reopening heavy scene files

  • Maintains all settings - Preserves your original configuration

  • Ideal for resubmissions - Perfect when you just need to rerender with minor changes

Step-by-Step Quick Resubmission Guide

  1. Open Helio Client Application

    • Launch the Helio desktop app on your workstation

  2. Start Import Process

    • Click File in the top menu

    • Select Import Project from the dropdown (Ctrl+Shift+M)

  3. Locate Your Previous Export

    • Navigate to your Pulze project export folder (typically in your documents or project directory)

    • Look for the folder named after your original export

  4. Select Your Scene File

    • Choose the 3ds Max file (.max) you originally exported

    • This is the same file you previously rendered

  5. Confirm Project Settings

    • Review the import settings that appear

    • Verify they match your original configuration

    • Click Continue to proceed

  6. Choose Your Cameras

    • Select which camera views you want to render

    • You can pick the same cameras or different ones

    • Adjust any render settings if needed

  7. Submit for Cloud Rendering

    • Click the Submit button

    • Your render will start processing in the cloud

Tips for Successful Resubmission

  • Keep export folders - Don't delete old Pulze export folders until projects are complete

  • Check file paths - If you moved files, update paths in the import dialog

  • Version control - Add a note if resubmitting with changes

  • Large scenes - This method works especially well for complex scenes

When to Do a Full Pulze Export Instead

  • When you've made significant scene changes

  • If you need to update asset dependencies

  • When changing render settings substantially

This method provides a huge time savings when you just need to rerender existing scenes. For most resubmissions, it's the fastest way to get your renders back in the cloud queue.
